WPSEUS-LTD is a free, trial version of version 2.0 of our award-winning software Woody Plants of the Southeastern United States: A Field Botany Course on CD. It contains all of the features of the first version, PLUS contains a new scripting feature. Scripts are files that, when loaded into the program, take you through automated study, quiz and test routines. Using scripts allows you to begin to learn plant identification from the minute you start the program. Four sample scripts are included with the trial. See the Tutorial file for more information on how to load them.

This limited version includes 122 of the over 3,500 images in the full program. It includes a full Tutorial, and a list of all of the taxa included in the full program. It does not include the help files, descriptions of the plants, or links external resources. The full set of images and all accessory files and links are available in the full program.

Purchasing the full version of the software entitles you to free downloads of tutorial scripts that teach plant identification. When loaded (see File Menus/Load Script), a script puts the program in automatic mode, leading you through learning sessions designed by our experts. Several sample scripts come with the free trial.
